HTC to finally unveil two wearables, Desire 820 with 64-bit processor at IFA on September 4


According to the report, the two wearables are codenamed WWY and CWZ. The WWY is pegged to be a fitness tracker with a 1.8-inch display and a 32 x 100 pixel resolution, suggesting it will be long and thin. It’s water resistant with IP57 rating, and has a 100mAh battery. The CWZ, is expected to be an Android Wear powered smartwatch. Not much is known about the device, yet. However, the device should launch soon and be available in mature markets (USA, Japan, Brazil, Korea, Taiwan) by September.
The HTC Desire 820′s leaked specifications include a 5.5-inch HD display, a 64-bit 1.2GHz processor paired with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The device also includes 8GB of internal memory. It is also expected to have a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a good 8-megapixel camera. The phone also packs 2600mAh battery. The availability and price of the device is not yet known. Considering it is in the Desire series, it would be in the mid-end price segment.
