Motorola ‘Shamu’ aka Nexus 6 featuring QHD display and Snapdragon 805 processor spotted on benchmark website

Last month we reported about the forthcoming Nexus 6 being built by Motorola and the device being known by its codename ‘Shamu’. Now the forthcoming smartphone has been spotted on benchmarking website AnTuTu, and unsurprisingly it is a monster of device.

The device has been listed on the benchmark website under the name Google Shamu, which gives more weight to the claim that the Nexus 6 is indeed a Motorola-built device. The smartphone is said to feature a 5.2-inch QHD (2560×1440 pixels) display with a pixel density of 564ppi, and powered by a 2.65GHz Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor paired with Adreno 420 GPU and 3GB of RAM.

Also featured are 13-megapixel rear camera, 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, and on the software front, it will run on Android L. Since it is being developed by Motorola, reports claim that the Nexus 6 could boast Moto X-like “always-on” display, and the ability to understand voice commands from users.

There is however still no word on when Google and Motorola plan on unveiling the Nexus 6.
