Lenovo S5000 Tablet 7-inch ultra-slim Android tablet launched, available on Amazon India for Rs 10,999



Lenovo has launched a new tablet in India called the S5000 Tablet. The company claims that the tablet is one of the lightest tablets in the world weighing just 246 grams. Priced at Rs 10,999, the tablet is available exclusively on Amazon India.
The Lenovo S5000 flaunts a 7-inch display with 1280×800 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz MediaTek (MT8389) MTK quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM. Also included is 16GB of internal storage.
The tablet features a 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 3,450mAh battery that is said to be good enough to last for more than eight hours. Connectivity options include 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Priced at Rs 10,999, the Lenovo S5000 will be up against other tablets like the Digiflip Pro XT811 and the Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2 among others.
