Motorola launches trade-in program for new Moto X, Moto G

Motorola has opened up a trade-in program for the new Moto X and Moto G that will decrease the overall cost of either handset. With a new two-year contract, the Moto X will be just $99; however, the off-contract price is $499. The Moto G maintains its incredibly valuable $179 price tag.

The trade-in program allows customers to send in their old device in return for a Visa prepaid card with the intent of  purchasing one of the company’s new devices. The Visa prepaid card will be sent after a Moto X or Moto G is purchased within thirty days of receiving a quote. Motorola says that customers can earn up to $300, but many newer devices do not seem to even get close to that figure.
