Sony announces new budget handset at IFA, the Xperia E3

While most Sony fans are likely drooling over the Z3, Z3 Compact, Z3 Tablet Compact or the new Smartwatch 3, Sony is also introducing a new budget entry at IFA, the Sony Xperia E3.
This modest device lacks waterproofing and other premium features, instead opting for a 1.2Ghz qaud-core Snapdragon 400 with 1GB RAM, 4GB storage, a 5MP cam, a 2330 mmAh battery and Android KitKat. The display is also less than impressive, at 4.5-inches with a resolution of just 854×480.
Still, if you have a limited budget but are looking for something with Sony’s iconic style, the E3 could fit the bill. Even better, there’s several colors to pick from: white, black, yellow and red. No word on pricing or availability just yet but we’ll be sure to keep you updated when we learn more.
